Wendy Packer, R.N., CH
Wendy Packer has been in the
health and wellness industry for the past
34
years. She has worked in hospitals, clinics and private
offices in NYC and Westchester. After training, Wendy completed a
clinical practicum at Farmingdale State University. She maintains
a private practice in New Rochelle, NY working with adults and
children. Being a registered nurse Wendy receives many referrals
from Westchester and NYC physicians assisting their patients for the
following concerns: weight reduction, smoking cessation, stress
reduction, pre-op worry/post-op recovery, lessening symptoms of
IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), chronic discomfort, migraine
headaches. She would be honored to assist you regarding your
concerns.
She is a consultant for the medical weight management program
GETTING, STAYING, LIVING THIN and is a contributing author in the
book
"TIPPING THE SCALES, Attention! It Is Not About DIEting, It's
About Living.
Wendy's chapter is "UNLOCK

Wendy
is also participating in corporate health events in New York City where she educates employees of various
corporations on the benefits of hypnosis, does mini relaxation
sessions and
sells her dynamic and life changing CD's.
She
has been a featured guest on WVOX's Westchester radio call-in
programs, "ROBERTA ON THE RADIO" discussing the benefits of
hypnosis and the "Larry Goldstein Show".
After completion of training and examination,
Wendy
received her National Guild of Hypnotists Certification
in "Forensic
Hypnosis". Her goal is to work with law
enforcement agencies and the legal community assisting victims of
crime along with helping individuals remember pertinent
information.
She
also received her National Guild of Hypnotists Certification in
"Pediatric Hypnosis". Wendy has always
found working with children to be very gratifying. "When I can
assist children in overcoming a concern which they no longer want
or need or when I can assist in creating something in their life
which will be positive for them, that's what makes this profession

On March 11, 2007 Wendy successfully completed the studies and demonstrated competency and skill in the basic techniques of NLP
and now has the title: Basic Practitioner of Neurolinguistic
Programming (C.NLP).
Wendy an adjunct faculty member of the NGH
has presented at the National Guild of Hypnotists 2007, 2008
Convention and Educational Conference. Her topic
was, "The RX for
Hypnotism Awareness in the Medical Community". She
truly believes that the mainstream medical community will embrace
the use of hypnotism once they are educated in realizing that
healing the mind goes hand in hand with healing the body. She
presently works with many physicians in the Westchester and NYC
community assisting their patients with hypnosis for various concerns.
