Guild of Hypnotists
The National Guild of Hypnotists was founded in 1951. The NGH is
the oldest and largest hypnosis organization of its kind.
Professional membership in the NGH signifies that an individual
possess specific qualifications, agrees to abide by a strict
code of ethics and will pursue continuing education for annual
recertification.
Hypnosis has been recognized as a valid modality by the British
Medical Association since 1955 and the American Medical
Association since 1958.

Code of Ethics & Standards of the AAEH
One of the principal goals of the AAEH is to establish hypnosis as a
worthy and dignified profession on par with related professions. It
is our goal to determine the standards for Hypnosis Research,
Education and Ethical Practice.
AIMS & PURPOSES

To support research and competent and ethical
training and practice in hypnosis.

To provide a certification
program which qualifies the hypnotist as a competent and
ethical professional.

To be the recognized premier certification
organization through a National Board of Hypnosis.
|
|
To monitor, evaluate and accredit basic and
advanced hypnosis training courses and programs, which will qualify
for AAEH Certification.

|
To review literature and to maintain current
understanding and knowledge about hypnosis and its application.
